Instructions
For the sauce:
- In a saucepan, heat up olive oil for sautéing
- Finely chop the yellow onion and garlic
- Throw it into the pan and sauté until it starts to turn brown
- Pour the can of San Marzano tomato’s into a food processor to remove any chunks
- Once the canned tomato’s is smooth, pour it into the saucepan
- Add salt, pepper, oregano, and basil to taste
- Keep this cooking on low for about an hour for the best taste
For the pizza:
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees
- Cook the bacon
- Finely chop the pineapple and red onion
- Once the bacon cools, tear it into small pieces
- Spread out flour and knead the dough
- Roll out the dough to your desired shape
- Spread the sauce on the dough
- Sprinkle the cheese throughout
- Add on your toppings (pineapple, red onion, bacon)
- Bake your finished pizza in the oven for 20 minutes until the cheese starts to bubble
- Let it cool, slice, and enjoy!
You can use canned pineapple chunks for an easier process
