Three-Cheese Vegetarian Baked Ziti with Spinach

Ingredients
• 1 pound uncooked medium tube-shaped pasta (ziti)
• 6 ounces baby spinach (about 4 cups), coarsely chopped
• 1 cup part skim ricotta cheese
• 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
• 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning• 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
• 2 jars (24 ounces each) Prego® Traditional Italian Sauce or Three Cheese Pasta Sauce
• 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese (about 6 ounces)
Step 1
Heat the oven to 350°F. Cook the ziti according to the package directions in a 6-quart saucepot. Add the spinach during the last minute of the cooking time. Drain the ziti and spinach well in a colander. Return them to the saucepot.
Step 2
Stir the ricotta cheese, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning and the garlic powder in a bowl. Season the mixture with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Add the sauce and 1 cup mozzarella cheese to the ziti mixture and stir to coat. Spoon into a 13x9x2-inch baking dish. Drop the ricotta mixture by spoonful’s on top. Sprinkle with the remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheeses.
Step 4
Bake for 30 minutes or until hot and the cheese is melted.
