 Burrata & Sopressatta Pizza

Ingredients

  • 16 oz. pizza dough
  • 1 Tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 1/2 c. shredded monterrey jack cheese
  • 2 c. shredded whole mozzarella cheese
  • 3/4 c. pizza sauce
  • 1 package (approximately 16 slices) Sopressatta salami
  • 1 whole burrata
  • Hot honey
  • fresh basil leaves
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1.  In a large cast iron pan, coat the bottom & sides with olive oil.
  2.  Lay your pizza dough at the bottom. Cover w/ plastic wrap & let it rise at room temp. for 1.5 hours.
  3. Line the perimeter with monterrey jack cheese to achieve crispy caramelized edges.
  4. Spread the pizza sauce at the bottom. Sprinkle with mozzarella cheese & lay the sopressatta slices on top.
  5. Bake at a preheated 425 degree Fahrenheit oven for 25-35 minutes or until golden brown & bubby all over.
  6. Garnish with burrata in the center. Season w/ salt & pepper on top.
  7. Drizzle w/ hot honey & freshly teared basil leaves.
  8. Enjoy w/ Cavit Prosecco.
