Anna’s Garden State Pie

Ingredients

For dough:

  • 1 packet of active dry yeast
  • 1 Cup of warm water
  • 1 3/4 Cups all purpose flour, more if needed and for dusting
  • 1 Tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon sea salt

Topping:

  • 3 Large fresh tomatoes, sliced thin, set on paper to dry
  • 5 oz fresh baby spinach
  • 1/2 Cup of Ricotta cheese
  • 6 ounces mozzarella
  • 3 ounces Feta
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 1 tablespoon of olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • Fresh cracked pepper to taste
  • 6 slices smoked ham

Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Set aside until it blooms, about ten minutes.
  2. Add flour, sea salt and olive oil.
  3. Mix well, turn out onto counter and knead for five minutes.
  4. Place dough in a lightly oiled bowl and cover tightly for one hour until doubled in size.
  5. Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
  6. Roll out dough and stretch onto pizza sheet.
  7. Put cheeses, spinach, garlic, honey, olive oil and cracked pepper into food processor.
  8. Run on low about 30 seconds until we’ll blended.
  9. Place sliced tomatoes on dough, then cheese/spinach mixture on top of tomatoes.
  10. Crinkle slices of ham to the top of pizza
  11. Bake for 18-20 minutes
  12. Let pizza sit for 10 minutes before slicing
