Korean Pizza

Ingredients

  • PIZZA DOUGH
  • 2 cups cooked chopped BULGOGI (marinated ribeye – found in most Asian markets. To make your own:
  • 2 pounds thinly sliced ribeye
  • ¾ cup soy sauce
  • ½ cup dark brown sugar
  • ¼ apple cider or apple juice
  • ½ onion, roughly chopped
  • 3 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, minced
  • 1/8 cup sesame oil
  • 2 tablespoons sesame seeds. Let marinate overnight. Chop the ribeye and cook in a cast iron skillet with some of the marinade until brown.)
  • about 1/2 cup KOREAN BBQ SAUCE (found in most Asian markets. To make your own, Mix together:
  • ¼ cup Korean fermented hot pepper paste (gochujang)
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoon rice wine vinegar
  • 3 teaspoons sesame oil. Mix together).
  • MOZZARELLA CHEESE shredded
  • 5 or 6 chopped Basil leaves, fresh
  • 1 cup chopped Cento San Marzano Peeled Tomatoes

Instructions

  1. Spread out the pizza dough
  2. Spread Korean BBQ sauce as you would the tomato sauce, a think coat leaving about 1 inch of the crust bare.
  3. Liberally sprinkle on the cooked ribeye (Bulgogi)
  4. liberally sprinkle on the chopped tomatoes
  5. Sprinkle on the cheese
  6. add the clopped basil
  7. Cook in your conventional oven or pizza oven the way that you prefer.
  8. Enjoy
